The Mango Program

This fund is dedicated to the memory of Roberta Yeldon, a force of love and boundless generosity.

Wherever Roberta went, she led with compassion and purpose. When she travelled to Peru with her family as a Pure Art volunteer in 2018, she brought this same indelible essence to the Hub of Hope and its programs. Roberta connected immediately with the community and the work of Sister Marie-Colette. 

Through the Mango Program, our pledge is to commemorate Roberta’s spirit by continuing to directly improve the lives of the children of the Hub, for years to come.

100% of donations to the Mango Program help provide after-school care for children in grades 1 and 2 in the slums of Manantay, in Pucallpa, Peru. Reading groups, homework assistance, extra-curricular activities and hot meals support these children through their academic progress.
